Description

The Re-Use project focuses on the reuse of used batteries from electric vehicles by using them as stationary energy storage systems. The aim is to use innovative testing methods and classification strategies to ensure that the second-life batteries offer sufficient performance and safety for private and industrial applications. The project includes the development and validation of battery management systems (BMS) as well as the market analysis and testing of battery storage systems in real-life scenarios. The aim is not only to extend the service life of the batteries, but also to make a valuable contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions.
