Hyundai Kona Electric

Since 2019 the Chair EES owns an all-electric SUV from the small car segment of the manufacturer Hyundai.

Data Logger

An AutoPi 2nd GEN automatically collects measurement data about the vehicle (GPS positions, speeds, currents, voltages, SOC, SOH, etc.)

Vehicle Data

Acceleration (0-100 km/h) 9,7 s
Max. Torque 395 Nm
Battery Capacity 39,2 kWh
Connector Type 2 for 7,2 kW (AC) </br> CCS for 50 kW (DC)

Data Logger

The Hyundai Kona Electric is equipped with a data logger (AutoPi 2nd GEN), which can automatically record measurement data about the vehicle (e.g. GPS positions, speeds, voltages of individual cells, total current, state of charge, state of health, driving performance, charging performance, etc.). This measurement data are available to the chair for its research projects. In the following figures, the vehicle position, the state of charge, the battery current, the driving speed, and the drive power were recorded from an exemplary route.
